Clutter Management and Space Organizing
Whether you have had lifelong problems with organization, things have just piled up lately, or anything in between, I can get your spaces in shape. You may want the results to look like something out of a magazine or someplace more relaxed and lived-in; I can get you there. Whether you envision a space to enjoy solitude, entertain, show off a collection, or enable your family to enjoy each other, your vision can be made a reality!
I can help you with kitchens, pantries, closets, dining rooms, living rooms, bathrooms, bedrooms, guest rooms, children’s rooms, playrooms, craft rooms, studios, family rooms, dens, home offices, storage rooms, attics, or basements.
Moving is overwhelming! My services can make it less so. Before a move, my design and decluttering skills can make your home look like a home-buyer’s dream! On the other end, I’ll help you unpack and organize your new place for a fresh start.
Whether you’re “aging in place”, downsizing next week or just starting to think about it, I can assist you. I know that contemplating the next phase of life in a smaller space can bring up lots of logistical and emotional issues. I can help with deciding what to do about cherished collections, memorabilia, and photographs, figuring out what will be useful in your new home, thinking about your new space and how you want it to look, choosing appraisers, movers, and other helpers, and providing assistance to make your move drama-free!
If a parent or loved one needs to downsize, it can be stressful in many ways. I can help you and the person you care about approach this major life event with efficiency, equanimity and compassion.
Living with ADD or ADHD can make organizing very difficult. And disorganization can cause serious problems in all areas of your life including your relationships. Organizing systems that seem to work well for friends or family members will not necessarily help you. And it’s not for lack of trying! I have strategies that have been shown to work well for people with ADD/ADHD.
I have been an artist for many years and have designed beautiful and functional working spaces for myself and other artists. I can appreciate the joys and challenges of creating a room that engages and celebrates your creativity!
